Icons of the Inside Passage Opening March 7, 5-9PM
Hello! Hello! It’s time for a show! Come check out my show at Collins Pub in Pioneer Square, Icons of the inside Passage. I spent time traveling through the Inside Passage, the waterway connecting the Salish Sea and southeast Alaska, while working as an expedition guide/naturalist on a small cruise ship. I find these interconnected ecosystems fascinating. The change from the natural grandeur of Alaska to the gentler and more populated shorelines of the Salish Sea is really obvious when traveling by ship, and I think it’s interesting that the same dichotomy showed up in my paintings.
